Emily Brooks First Day Backhandsprings

And speaking of backhandsprings, Yefim hosted his LASG backhandspring clinic yesterday, featuring special guest coach, Vanessa Atler.

At the same time as the clinic, we had privates going on, my adult class, 2 birthday parties...just another typical weekend, really. However, the parking lot, in the absence of an attendant who is scheduled during the week, was simply aggravating as all hell. One parent drove over the curb to get out after 30 minutes of trying to track down the owners of two different cars blocking her in; and coach Robyn's car got dinged.

Achy Brooky Hearts

Haley and Emily have not been able to attend regular class sessions this Fall. But happily, they are still doing gymnastics, through privates, once a week. I've known Haley for quite a few years, now; from beginning/advanced, to moving her up into intermediates. She's one of my all-time favorites (I know I say that about everyone- and I mean it every single time I say it!). Her younger sister Emily, I've only taught through make-up classes, once she moved up to beginning/advanced. They are quite the adorable duo. This video was fun to make, as I've begun importing and adding on some custom made xml codes into Windows Movie Maker.
