Nostalgia's never a bad thing...
...especially when it's so retro-SMGC like this:
Short and sweet.
Come on, get happy people!!!

A cool place for friends and family members of Santa Monica Gymnastics Center to come hang out. So nuke the popcorn in the microwave; Snoopy dance...dance..dance around the room...then pull up a chair, and be prepared to laugh and cry; to feel embarrassed and inspired; and to just sit back, relax and enjoy these music videos.

Oh hey Michael I saw Alejandra at the meet this weekend. It was fun to see her in person. Actually I saw her and was going to call out to her until I realized that she does not actually KNOW ME... haha... but I did go up to her and introduce myself and told her I "met" Alejandra on this site... They really appreciate all you do/did for Alejandra- they had nothing but nice things to say about you and SMGC. :)
Lol...that's great!
What meet was this? The UCLA Invite? A level 4 meet? Amazing you remember her name.
I actually had an adult from Orange County who came out to SMGC to take an adult class, and she knew of us through my vids; she was a bit distracted by seeing familiar faces from my videos...almost like she was star-struck. Haha!
Actually that is a bit how I felt- star-struck...hehe I was like "oh I know you from the internet" haha...It was a meet at the Hilton Hotel at Universal hosted by AOGC- level 4 to level 10.
Alejandra's mom told me about how nice you were; you made Alejandra feel "famous" and special. Thanks for that!
Oh no problem! I see that she has put in a lot of hard work to get where she is! I LOVE those kind of kids! :)

Yes, gymnastics is not an easy sport for Alejandra and she knows it. Rather than getting dejected and giving up on the sport, she loves it so much she defies her physical nature and works hard at getting to where she is, and to where she wants to go. She's fighting with tooth and nail to realize her dreams, with complete self-awareness of her limitations; and a refusal not to be limited by them.
