Prayers for Deanne Soza!

Source

Just learned about this from Gym Gab Blog on FB:

Our sweet Deanne has contracted a rare and very serious eye infection in both of her beautiful eyes. At this point she is in a lot of pain and the infection is sight threatening. She is having treatments every hour and is not getting any sleep, so she doesn't need visitors but she does need prayers. Please keep Deanne and her Family in your prayers.
We love you Deanne.

Update:

today at the doctors office she was able to see some light and shadow's. Please continue prayers for her vision to return. Thank you so much for all the prayers and support.

Being out of touch, I was completely unaware of who she is.  She looks to be amazing:

Here's hoping for a speedy recovery and a bright future.

Update today:

New update: update on Deanne: At the Doctor today he said they think they were able to kill the bacteria that was causing so much damage to her eyes. the scratch on her cornea seems to be closing. She is gaining vision in her left eye and was able to see a silhouette of her father. It is believed that the problem came from a water born parasite from a swimming pool or hot tub in Pittsburgh. The parasite got behind her contact and into a scratch in her eye. Now it is a matter of how much damage her body and your prayers are able to heal. She is a fighter and is in good spirits because of all of the love and support she has gotten from all of you. Any thing is possible in the Lord!

Update:

Latest update on Deanne: Deanne continues to improve. The vision in her left eye continues to get stronger. Now she is able to open her right eye which suffered the most damage. For the first time she has had some vision in her right eye. The extent of the damage may not be known for sometime. It seems at this point that she will get her vision back in both eyes. The quality of her vision remains to be seen. Until this point we have tried to remain positive and optimistic. Now that Deanne is improving and her right eye is now open and responding to treatment, we would like to quickly describe the initial severity of her condition. After several weeks of misdiagnosis, Deanne had lost her vision and it was described that she was only hours away from permanent vision loss. Doctor Matthew Ward went into emergency action to save Deanna's vision. When the pharmacy said they could not have her prescriptions immediately Dr. Ward went to battle for Deanne with a heated and decisive conversation in which he said, I am trying to save this child's vision. We want to thank Dr. Ward for his skill and determination to save the vision of this amazing young women. We also want to thank everyone for their prayers and support. We truly believe that prayers and faith are key to her healing. We are hopeful that Deanne will be able to return to the gym and one day again inspire us with the amazing talent that God has given her.
